Pro and VDX - which OS?

Just bought the Pro and will be using it with my VDX on the same computer using Win 98. I will sync with two different user names. So far I have not installed 3.5, and the Pro does not have a problem syncing with the 3.0 OS from the VDX. I would like to upgrade, but want to make sure it will not cause problems for the VDX. Any help out there?

You must be talking about the Palm Desktop software, not the OS version on the handhelds (which is not upgradeable on a Visor). The desktop software is backward-compatible with all versions of the PalmOS. The version that comes with the Pro is the same version available for download from the Handspring web site... and I've been using it without any problems with a VDx for quite a while.

As long as both the Pro and VDx have different user names assigned to them, they can safely be synced on the same PC.
