MiniJam "known" issues - have they been fixed?

I bought a MiniJam a couple of years ago and returned it because of some serious problems. First, the buttons on top of the unit wouldn't work, which defeated the whole purpose of being able to run the MiniJam without having to turn on your Visor. Second, the software seemed very unstable and would often crash my Visor.

Please let me know if anyone with a new MiniJam has experienced these problems. I would hope that Innogear has fixed these problems. I would love to be able to take advantage of their new offers.

Thanks!

Lightbulb

We have very few problems with MiniJam, any problems that may happen are usually due to:

A. New Sandisk MMC cards which are not compatible any longer with the MiniJam due to changes they made.

B. Or some sort of hacks that may effect the MiniJam software

In either case, our tech support is quick to determine the problem and fix it or send out a replacement.....

Thank you, InnoGear Inside, for responding to my post. However, what you described was not my experience. The problems I had, namely that the hardware buttons would not turn the MiniJam on and would not control the songs, were described on InnoGear's website at the time as "known issues". If a product has known issues, doesn't it by nature suggest that a correction to the known issues is necessary?

I guess before I purchase another MiniJam, I just want to know if these known issues have been corrected. Thank you.

I have no complaints about my MiniJam, which I purchased back when the special pricing started a couple months ago.

mitchr99,

The problem you had "a couple years ago" must have been a defective unit....... this is not how a MiniJam is supposed to work and I have not heard of anyone having this problem in the past year .........

So to answer your question, it is not a problem

Button problem !?!?!?!?

The button problem was fixed years ago by a software update that is still available (for people that buy used MiniJams)!

We have been shipping MiniJams with the updated software for years and this is only aproblem when a customer buys an old MiniJam off of Ebay, and is easily solved but the software update.

I've had absolutely no problems with my Minijam. It works great.

If you're interested in one though, I am selling it. I'm getting rid of my Prism and so I won't be able to use it any longer. If you're interested, drop my an email.
