Angry

The glass cover on my visor was cracked a month ago and I sent the thing away to get fixed. There are lots of troubles there, but I'll get right to the point.

I got the visor back and popped it into my USB cradle at home with my PC, and it synched no problem. Now I'm at work, and I've got it hooked up to the serial cradle of my Mac 7300 (112 MB ram, OS 8.5). (using palm desktop 2.5, serial port manager 2.6)

It simply won't hot synch. I have tried connecting to the modem port, the printer port, switching both settings in the Hot Synch manager, I've reinstalled the software, and I've rebooted about a hundred times with every possible configuration. Once, and I think it was a fluke, it actually synched. I erased some old memos, put it back in the cradle, and it wouldn't synch.

Any one have any ideas?

try a soft reset of the visor while in the cradle... it always works for me when there's a weird outta the blue sync weirdness event.
