How do I use the LED as an alarm (like when you charge it from the cradle) or as a power on indicator?
Thanks

Enter the datebook or datebook+ application--
Open the menu
Go to options---(left side)
go to alarm preferences
Select silent and the duration desired
Or --
From inside the datebook or datebook+ application--
Use 2
and make the selection(s) desired

Datebk5
Is there any way to make this work with other programs, namely datebk5?

I have never used datebook 5--
If datebook five goes through the alarm system through software hooks--Then the prefs you set in the OS datebook should apply under the shell program (Datebook-5)
BUT
If datebook5 addresses the OS directly then the alarms would work as set is datebook5 and you may not be able to use the Flash--
Look around in the preferences (Inside datebook5) and see if there is a silimar selection offered--
Also--E-mail the Software publisher of datebook-5---It will probably take a coupl'a days--but companies usually get back with the info---They may even give you a patch if it doesn't address it in your current version--

I thank you for the information, but I need to know how to program the LED (as a HACK?) to both be an alarm and a power-on indicator.
