Can't Sync Anymore Under WinXP

Late last year, I got a nice, new PC with WinXP installed. I hooked up my Visor Deluxe USB cradle, installed the software, and was syncing happily for several weeks. Then, nothing...

I had 2 printers installed, one on a USB port, and one on LPT1. The sync problem seemed to start after I'd gotten rid of the old printer on LPT1.

I haven't tried to sync via the serial port yet. I have a cradle, but my touchpad is using that port.

I've followed all the instructions at the Handspring web site, but no joy. I sent an email to their tech support, but never received a reply.

Any ideas out there?

Thanks in advance.

Did you ever fix this.

I am having problems trying to get my Visor Deluxe to sync via IR. Like you I have done everything that every notice board says but just cannot get the thing to work.

Right now I have no problems with XP and the USB cradle. This seems to be very stable for me.

However, if you found some strange thing inside XP then it may also point me to the right direction.

Regards
