How to backup up Prefs file

BackupBuddy does NOt seem to be backing up the Palm Treo 180 Preferences file. That file contains assignment of buttons, etc...

What is the name of that Palm Treo 180 preferences file .... because I would like to go to the BB backup directory and see if it is being backed up.

Is there a messageboard or user group for backupbuddy users?

There are 2 preference files: Saved and Unsaved. The BackupBuddy help file contains the following regarding the Unsaved preferences file:

quote:
Backup Unsaved Preferences - per communication with Palm, Inc., upcoming OS revisions (e.g. 3.1 and later) may not support the restoration of this database (hence it's name), and may or may not cause a fatal exception during a restore if this database is found in the backup directory. As a result, BackupBuddy does not backup this database. Nevertheless, if you are an advanced user and wish to back up this database, enable this option (subject to the caveat described above).

I believe the files are named Saved_Preferences.prc and Unsaved_Preferences.prc
