Scratches, Scratches... I can't hear it anymore.

Is this whole scratching issue due to the fact, that Handspring used poor, cheap material or is it a common Palm device problem?

I also read a Palm mailing list at www.ultraviolet.org and if you search their archives you will see the same things discussed about Palm organizers as we discuss here: sync, screen protection, & apps.
