Smile Deluxe Faceplate

Anyone know where I can get a Visor Original Deluxe faceplate? And do the Pro / Neo faceplates fit the deluxe?

I've seen the 3rd party faceplates (surplus.com.hk) but I wish to look around for an original one before I decide.

Thanks

You should be able to swap between Neos and Deluxes, but the Pros don't use AAA batteries, so I don't think it'd be feasible.

Smile Front Faceplate

I was thinking of the Pro faceplate front. And I couldn't access the site you gave me. (gethightech.com)

Anyways, anyone tried to install a Neo/Pro faceplate on their Deluxe before? Handspring might have changed the insides of the plastic...

Thanks.

www.gethightech.com will be your best bet, but you might have to go for the Platinum faceplate for $30 - does not include the springboard or battery covers, though...

Hmm...not sure why you couldn't access it, but the closest they'd have would be a platinum case.

They didn't change it on the Neo (but did on the Pro on the backplate).

Exclamation

I wouldn't risk putting a Pro "face" on a Neo or Deluxe. The Pro at least has an extra hole for the silent alarm/charging light and it is likely that there are some other mechanical fastening changes as well.

Yes, the Neo faceplate is fine. Another place to check out, whose prices are somewhat cheaper than GetHighTech, is http://www.palmmedic.com
