Does anyone know if the stowaway works with a prism?

Yes, and there's a good deal for them at Amazon. I think it works with all Visors except Edge, which has a separate keyboard.

Yes, I use a stowaway with my Prism. The label on it just said "Visor", not Deluxe or Prism specifically.

Visor Prism + Stowaway

I've been using the two together for about three weeks (since I got my Prism). Like you, I had the same concern. I'd had a Visor Neo before, so I was a little worried. But, so far, no problems. You just can't charge the Visor and use the Keyboard at the same time. Keyboard does draw power from the Visor, and "heavy" users may be a little annoyed at having to recharge so often (e.g., I used the keyboard with the VPR about 30 minutes and noticed the charge on the battery had gone from 95% to 65%, but I've also got a Memplug CF Card in too, which accounts for some of that drain).
