Question

I finally received my new Prism and activated Omnisky service over the holidays. I am thoroughly pleased with the products !! Now I need a SAFE beltclip case, but can find one nowhere. The case they send with the Omnisky kit is adequate for protecting the unit(s), but is bulky, and there is no belt clip.

Anyone know of an option which would SAFELY accomodate both products and be belt clippable ??

Thanks, RockDoc

Exclamation OmniSky, with Prism case

I tried the phone case from Handspring, the leather one, no go, antenna on wrong side and its just a little too high where the module fits so wont work. I have ordered the new phone sport case for 24.99 with belt clip, the case hold the entire visor(prism too) and the phone mod. with ant. sticking out the hole. THis one should work will post again wed.

Sport Phone case?

Where did you see the Phone sport case you are talking about? I am in the same boat and would love to hear your thoughts and reviews when you get it.

Thanks.

Phone Case

Its on Handspring.com but a little hard to find here is the link, I may get this today and I'm pretty sure it will work on Prism etc and omnisky modem etc. I will post pictures late tonight if I get it.

Talking Case is here, pics later

Ok, I ordered the new Black sport case from Handspring.com, under their phone acc. area.
Its constructed nice, I like the materials (neoprene like) but it is snug. Not that its a bad thing, it comes out fairly easily, but its a tight fit.
Antenna slot works well, handspring logo on front is raised plastic letters and the belt strap is a nylon strap with plastic coupler.
All in all I would give it a 4 of out 5, mainly because its really the first, small, case that I have found that works!

Will post pictures later.

Would a Visor Prism with a Novatel Minstrel S fit in the sport case?

Thanks,
Rick

Prism and Minstrel

Microchip-

The OmniSky modem is a Minstrel and yes, it should work. The only issue is that it is backwards I believe as the VisorPhone antenna is on the opposite side... meaning you would have to put it in facing the opposite way.

I too have a Prism and a Minstrel and I am still not happy with the case selection. I want something that will carry the two and not too snug and still protect the screen so I can take off that darn plastic cover.

If anyone has other ideas, please let us know.
