Thumbs up stock dropping like a rock

Handspring's stock took another hit today, closing at $2.95, almost at its 52-week low of $2.93. Analysts quoted in the Wall STreet Journal said that Handspring had abandoned PDAs and bet everything on the Treo and now the Treo is looking iffy. I attribute it to the hex that I put on Handspring when they hosed me and the other Prism and Springboard owners. Not that I'm resentful or anything, that would be petty...

Arrow Huh?

Both Handspring's and Palm's Stock was a buck something a few month back so I dont knwo where you got the $2.93 52 week low from. I woudl eb worried about Handspring if Palm's stock was like $5 and it was like $2..but they are both hurting right now.

I am still convinced that there is no real money to be had in the PDA space.

52 week low for HAND is $1.13; for PALM is $1.35.

Handspring has been much more volatile lately. They actually had a pretty good surge after the Treo announcement, but have been steadily declining ever since the conference call where they announced they were transitioning out of the 'traditional organizer' market.

The problem is that there's even less money (long term) in the smartphone space for a company the size of Handspring.
