Will this be showing up in the US market?
When?
Worth checking out?

I didn't know what you were talking about, so I looked it up, and now I post the link to the homepage for others:

Since the site is in Japanese, I'm not clear on the Zaurus' details (other than it appears to be a Pocket PC/Windows CE PDA).
However, I am completely stumped by this image on the Zaurus Web Page.
So, the Zaurus causes some sort of attraction between attractive women and velociraptors?

Today, I found more information:

There has been a "Zaurus" organizer for some time, it looks like the old Franklin electronic planners (big calculator-like case which opens to show a screen and a mini keyboard).
The new one will run a flavor of Linux and handles java apps, and will also be supported by Amiga. It has a color screen and a built-in keyboard (hidden under the metal-looking part below the screen).
I got the sense that it will appear in the States (one of the above articles mentioned North America as a market) but don't know when or for how much (but, it's running US $475 in Japan).

I owned a several different versions of the Sharp Zarus/Wizard (years ago), they were my primary PDA until I purchased my PalmPilot Profesiona. While they were nice at the time, they were nothing like the new model being discussed.
