Date Stamp shortcut errors

Is there some secret shortcut that is very similar to the date stamp ds that forces graffitti to backspace and erase an entire line?

There are several times when I've done some shortcuts and I watch the cursor zip backwards and it deletes everything I've written on that line, it's unrecoverable, can't be gotten back via an undo command and frankly ticks me off.

This has been going on for quite some time now. Anyone know what this secret shortcut is that does this so I can try to avoid it?
