Question

I've got the Visor DeLuxe, and with all that available memory, I've downloaded and installed lots of programs to try. I like the look and functionality of Launch 'Em, but I've encountered numerous fatal errors. They occur whenever I select the "P" gadget (makes records private" and also whenever I go to use the power off gadget. I removed both those gadget buttons and I'm still, occasionally getting the fatal errors.

Question for y'all: When atempting to isolate the offending program(s), do I need to use some utility to fully delete all of the databses associated with these different apps? If I simply delete the programs using the on-board delete utility, does that clear up the system enough to stop possible conflictions? I have downloaded the trial version of Backup Buddy, but I don't fully understand it's operation yet. I was surprised when, after a hard reset, the normal hot-synch operation restored some (but not all) of the third party programs I had installed.

I don't know if it's launchem, and i can't remeber the other article I know would apply (I'll try to find it and edit this post, but I would check out Calvin's FAQ at palmgear.com

It has also been my experience that you should carefully delete the hacks assosiated with programs that you delete so that they
don't cause this type of fatal error. There is a great hack for this called HackDelete Hack availible at http:www.benc.hr

for calvin's faq go to: http://www.palmgear.com/faq/faq.cfm...=62&catID=3
