First try removing the hot synic manager from your computer, re-boot your computer and then reinstall hot synic manager.
If that doesn't correct the problem:
2 Questions:
Are you using Windows 2000? If so contact Handspring for help.
Are you using a serial port? If so try going to palm.com and getting their new hotsynic software version 4.01
