VDX beaming CLIE, vice versa

i have a VDX for 6 months.

lately i tried to beam apps from my unit (OS 3.1H3) to a CLIE-T415 (OS 4.1), and i failed. then i tried beaming contacts from datebook, no go.

i'm sure that beam send/receive had been turned on for both units, and i had already installed palm's ir-enhancement (ONLY the serircommlib file) on the VDX. i tried distances of 10cm and higher between the units, still no go.

any hints?

This is a known bug in the Sony T Series, and I experienced the same problem. The sony's have trouble recognizing the IR when taken straight from the box, for some odd reason.

Try doing a soft reset in the T415, and see if this helps. If not, a hard reset will.
