There are easter eggs in the palm OS that you can access.

Go www.memoware.com, look in the palm section there are 1-2 files that shows how to get them.

SpiceUmUp...

They're those little colored things the Easter Bunny brings...

Actually, if you're serious, they're usually little "signatures" buried within the code by the programmers. There are a few within the Palm OS as there is in most commercial code. This is part of the reason we have mega-gigabyte storage... can you say "bloat-ware"???

Cool

Don't fret, it's not a dumb question. Easter Eggs are things the programmers "hide" for fun. Like if you did some unusual combination of keys/stokes it would come up with a little funny message. Or a web developer might stick something on a web page, that if you clicked in a specific spot - something happened. Similarly, our Natural History Museum hides 1.5 inch tall trolls dolls in all the animal diaramas (spelling?) which are fun to look for. They're very hard to find.

Unhappy

I read in a Japanese Visor site about an Easter Egg that makes Handspring logo do cartwheels. The author of the site does not exactly tell you how to do that. She just says, "From the Launcher, hold down a button & tap somewhere." but does not specify which button or where to tap. She has a picture & QuickTime video of the Easter Egg at http://www4.pos.to/~roba/specials/19991204.html Go to the bottom of the page & click "QuickTime" link. Has anyone figured out this one? I tried to push & tap different places but have not been successful.

I can't figure it out either, so I've emailed her, in English and in my broken Japanese:

Visor no iisuta egu wa, doo shimasu ka?

I wonder if that romaji makes any sense. It's been a while since I've studied Japanese...
