Talking

I feel like I just found 10 bucks on the street. This is pretty cool. I was poking around the screen with my visor platinum and tried the trick where you press the up key and at the same time tap the time area and you get the dancing Handspring logo when I pressed the up key and tapped the battery and...........low and behold the voltage characteristics appear. It tells you the volts, no load volts, the mWatt draw and the percentage of life left in the battery. Am I the first to discover this because I never EVER read of that before on any website or FAQ (a little Jericho humor)?
Enjoy

Thumbs up Battery Easter Egg on Prism

If you do that on the Prism you get voltage load, and percent charge on the battery.

Doesn't work on a plain old Visor.

MarkEagle's comment is confirmed: This does not work on a Visor standard (2MB).

Not on other PalmOS 3.5 devices either

I just tried this on my Palm VIIx. While it works on my Prism, the VIIx just ignores the up keypress. It looks like a Handspring extension to the OS.

Thumbs up

Works like a charm on my Platinum. Too bad they've already given the Nobel prize to one of those internet lightweights, handspringer, or you'd be a shoe-in.

Also works on Platinum

This must be a new feature of the O/S (3.5.2h) because it also works on the Platinum!
