Screen replacements at gethightech.com

I found out just recently how fragile my Visor Edge turned out to be. I dropped the device on the floor from waist level onto carpet and opened it up to find the glass screen broken in several different places. The digitizer is now non-responsive and I'm looking at $119 to get it fixed through Handspring.

Now I've discovered gethightech.com. They sell replacement screens. The problem is my screen is still functioning. It's just the glass top that is cracked. Does anyone have just the glass top that they'll sell me? Or do you know where I can find a complete screen for less than $70? I'm trying to keep the price for this fix to a minimum since I've only had this PDA for a couple of months ($169 from handspring).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's the digitizer.

Hey the glass screen is the digitizer. I don't know if there is a way to replace it without replacing the whole screen...Just thought that I would let you know.

Replacement

I juz wonder since is the glass is broken can we juz cut a glass from any glass shop and replace since is juz cost a few dollar.

The digitizer is glass with a plastic cover having a conductive coating. You can't get a cheap replacement unless you can find an Edge that died for other reasons.
