Consider this an un-scientific poll.

I'm not interested in WHAT springboards you have. I just want to know how many.

I have 1 at the moment. I "may" end up with 3 total.

1) How many do you have right now.

2) How many do you think you'll eventually have (even if some on your list don't yet exist)?

Thanks

Dave B.

You might want to try the new Poll feature of the discussion boards.

Right now I have 1, in the immediate future I plan on getting 2 more, and eventually I might get more.

I have 3 now.

Eventually? Hmmm. Don't know. I'd guess 3 or so.

I agree that this would be a good poll. I think that it was an official VC poll a while back, BUT...

I have 5 SB's now

-as for the future-

Let's see what gets produced. None of what's currently out there is on my "a" list of things to get.

I don't like springwarts that stick out the back. Out the top is ok.

I have 2.

Within the next 2 months I'll be bringing it up to 4.

By the end of the year, who knows? Probably 6-8.

....sounds crazy, I know.

Have ten, seven of them Backup mods w/different configurations (i.e.: GPS, Wireless, Games, Gen. purpose, etc.)

1- Minstrel S (YadaYada)
1- Magellan GPS Companion
1- 8 Meg Flash
7- Backup modules

Considering the Eyemodule2 and the 16 Meg Flash as a strong possibility in the very near future.

I have 3 modules so far, I think you guys should mention which modules you have so we get a pictures of what modules are popular among vc members. My first module was the back up module, then I got the InnoPack 2/V, finally I bought the Franklin Dictionary. All of them are my buddies, I love them. If everything goes fine and my wife accepts my proposition of buying the eyemodule 2 I might have a fourth one. Later on I might be buying the Thinmoden Plus if I find a discount or something like that. Something that I might not be buying is a GPS module. They are not ready for prime time. I was looking for something that shows streets maps in blocks. An MP3 module is too expensive for my taste. I might buy it in the future if I see the price go down.

Well, since you asked:

Backup Module
Innopak 2V
Eyemodule "classic"
Xircom Springport Modem
Minstrel S (YadaYada)
Geodiscovery Geode GPS

Things I'm mulling over buying: Eyemodule 2, if the folks on this board who get it think it's worth it; SoundGood MP3; and the 8mb flash, or one of the other newer mass storage alternatives.

I'm also dying to buy a voice recorder module - unfortunately, neither of the current candidates impresses me overly much. What I'd like to see is a standard size module with voice recording and 8mb (or more) flash memory - sort of a "2Pak."

Okay, if we're stating what we have than I'll let you all know that I own a Backup Module & a Magellan GPS Companion. Once you get a Springboard module it really gets the ball rolling and makes you want to buy more. I'll soon be buying both the 16mb module & the ThinModem+.
