Question Eyemodule storage

Hey there,

I am considering purchasing an eyemodule or an eyemodule two. I have two questions:

1. Will they take color pictures if I don't have a Prism? I know I cannot view them in color on my Platimu, but when I sync them to my PC would they be in color?

2. Will the pictures remain stored even if I don't have the module in the visor? I have a visorphone and want it to stay in the visor as often as possible.

Thanks,

Mike

I'm not sure about the original eyemodule, but the eyemodule2 will take color pictures even if you don't have a Prism. It gives you the option of taking full size pictures (that will be in color when you hotsync and view them on your computer), palm size pictures (that will only be in color if you have a Prism, even when you view them on the computer after syncing), and movies (also only in color if you have a Prism).
The eyemodule software (both for the original and the eyemodule2) stays on your Visor even after you remove the springboard, so if you have your Visorphone in your Visor you will still be able to view the pics.

The original eyemodule's color pics are in monochrome on the handheld (if it's non-color) but *will* be in color when moved to your desktop computer.
There are three photo types, small b/w, large b/w, and color (which is the same size as the large b/w.)
I'm using "large" relatively; it's 320x240 pixels. small is smaller.
