Infrared Sync

I just found out about infrared sync for my Visor deluxe to my Dell Laptop.

Anyhow, I can get it to work, but ONLY if I lower the infrared speed on my laptop to 57.6k and that makes for a slow hotsync. Any faster and the devices don't "See" each other.

Has anyone gotten it to work at a higher infrared speed?
