Astraware is especially great about this kind of thing. When I purchased my gameface a couple months ago for the disasterly-high price of $12.00!!!! at a Sam Goody, I realized I couldn't upgrade to a newer version. I asked them how I could, and they sent me a zip file containing the full version of the game, no questions asked. Later when I won a Zap!2000 registration through the birthday contest, I e-mailed them again saying I had it from my gameface, and they immediately responded saying I could pick a game of my choice and they would send me a replacement registration code! So I got Zap! (which I already had) and Bejeweled in the birthday contest!
I also like astraware with their community and beta boards, where the CEO frequently visits to see how his games are doing. He actually responds to regular people and their criticism, comments, etc., and makes changes if necessary. He also posts his e-mail address, that he actually frequently checks, in case I wanted to talk to him privately.
