I wrote a lengthy note on my Notepad, and now realize I'd like to have it as a note attached to one of my Phone Book entries -- any way to cut and paste, or do I have to re-type?

Sure, just go to the memopad note, press the menu silkscreen button, and select edit->select all, then menu button again and select edit->copy (or cut). Then go to the phonebook entry and tap on the 'note' button at the bottom, then press the menu button and select edit->paste.

(if you want a faster way to do it, you can use the '/S', '/C', and '/P' command shortcuts too)

Yeah, and I just now realized that you can actually select a block of text by simply dragging the stylus across it. Cool!

Thanks much.

There are some things just too big to cut and paste the normal way. Evedit is a good app for more elaborate stuff. It also stores multiple clip-board items (10). So if you are trying to cut/paste several fields from within one app to another you don't have to keep switching back and forth. Load up Evedit's clip board and then go to the new app and paste them in one by one.

Evedit is great! Multiple undos, drag and drop, multiclip board, etc.

Thanks for the tip. Where do I find that app? Is it freeware? Shareware?
