Wink internal vs external

I really wish I had 16 mg internal, but I couldn't live without my memplug and 128 mg card. I can do a lot with only 3 free mgs of internal memory, but nothing without scads of external!

I would prefer the 16MB internal, at least until they get all the quirks out of programs running off of and writing back to CF cards.

Mine is a SM card; they aren't nearly as troublesome as the CF cards. Most people using SM cards have no problems at all (I'm NOT most people I have problems with anything!)

I would assume that the problems with reading and writing off the cards are Flash Adapter specific, not card specific, but if there are less problems with SM, CompUSA will get a visit from me today while the Memplug is on sale, I've got some SM cards laying around too!

oh, well I have both: 16MB upgrade from when I was in Hong Kong and SM memplug (my digital camera and MP3 player use SM also). I don't think that I could give up either....both have their advantages and disadvantages.

I'm awaiting Targus' HandCam to come out and i want a lot of memory on board for pictures and little vidoe clips. That or massive amounts of memory external so i can move the images/video to the memplug after taking it on the visor. But if i wanted to take video with the handcam i'd need meore internal. These videos aren't going to be that big, just gonna use it during the wrestling season to catch moves. So i'm in a jam...to buy the 256mb cf card or upgrade to 16 mb. So much good stuff and so little money.

How about both?

I want both! I already have 128 MB of memory with my Memplug SM. I can no longer live with less because I already use 106 MB of it. More internal memory would allow me to take more Eyemodule2 images.

Man, would I love to get a Handcam! I am going to ask my dad for it and give the eyemodule2 to a friend, for a price of course.

More internal memory would be nice, but I wouldn't know what to do without my CF card now. I don't use the Memplug, I'm using the Kopsis software, but I've got AvantGo adn Noah Lite both taking up large parts of my RAM, and I still have room to spare thanks to teh CF card. I have over 13 Mbs of just pictures on my card, along with a whole library of books, other programs, etc. Also, it serves as my backup module, so again, while more RAM would would be nice, the external is what really helps me.

Both are nice to have, but if I had to make a choice between the two, I would have to go with the Memplug. I already have one and since I am already into digital photography I have MANY CF cards, it only made since for me to go with the memplug.

Out of curiosity, LeaDxPainT
How do you plan to upgrade your Visor to 16MB? Are you getting the visor pro or installing a new memory chip in your existing visor? I am really interested. Could I upgrade my visor Prism's ram to 16MB? If so, how much are we talking?

Thanks in advance.

The 16mb upgrade goes for 119, pretty good considering his reviews.

Smile

THANKS for the link!!!
Think I just found what I will tell my wife I want for Christmas
Even with my memplug, another 8 MB's of internal memory can't hurt. This will be good for all those big apps (like Docs2Go & QuickOffice) that won't run on the memplug and all those must have apps that I need when my memplug is not in the Springboard slot when I have a different SB module in....(even thought I don't own anything else....yet)

THANKS A MIL!

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?
