i bought that Matchbook CF adaptor. I installed FAFileMover
and i can copy file from RAM to the CF-card. So in this
way everthing works fine...
I read at Kopsiss side that the the file on an CF are not direct accessible by any launcher, so i have to use another appl. to realize this. I read something about "PowerRun", "VFSManager" e.g..
I tried to install them but with less success...
Is "VFSManager" the same kind if program than "PowerRun"?
Do i have to install both?
Is there any free programm available?

It sounds like you probably want the VFSHelper from Kopsis. This is currently in public beta, and is available from the Kopsis web-site.
Basically this allows certain (i.e. they need to support VFS) to directly access the CF card. Check out the VFSHelper readme.txt for more details.
AFAIK (and I don't use PowerRun so don't quote me on this) PowerRun copies applications & data betweek the VFS media and the Palm device, allowing non-VFS enabled applications to be stored on the CF card.
Note - Powerrun does not work with the Visor Deluxe or Visor Solo. You must be running OS 3.5x or better to have it work. VFS works very well. I finally got Splash Photo working with my matchbook drive, and I've been keeping ebooks and other non-critical data on my drive for several weeks and love the CSPOT plugin that reads the books directly from the card.
Cheers!

VFS Helper is a beta program from Kopsis Engineering that gives VFS functionality (e.g., CF access) to pre-OS 4.0 users. It doesn't "do" anything else.
You need to use it in conjunction with an app launcher like PowerRun or LauncherIII beta. PowerRun does need OS3.5, and will copy the application and its database. LauncherIII only copies the application, so the databases still need to reside on RAM. EXCEPT for programs that are VFS-enabled like Acrobat Reader, PalmReader, and Kopsis's version of CSpotRun.

So this means, that e.g VFS will not work with
other Launchers like MegaLauncher or Launch Em 3?
