Hi folks,

This is the problem: Runnning usb hotsync on Win2k gives me a connection lost error (6410) after about 5-25 seconds of syncing.

This is a new problem. I have a dual boot with Win98 and Hotsync works fine on it, thank god. This is my 2nd install of Win2k after crashing the first, which I didn't have any Hotsync problems with so I know software and harware should work.

I have tried the following after reading posts and being adventurous: uninstall and reinstall Hotsync/Desktop, soft and hard reset, uninstalling USB including root hub etc, and deleting old registry settings.

If any has any other tricks/tips, please
help me out. Thanks!

Verify that you're using the latest release of the Handspring software. The original version did NOT support W2K. The updated version, available on their website, includes the appropriate new USB drivers.
