Sorry, but I am looking to upgrade a VDLX. (should have made that clearer)

It would seem that the VDLX can only go to 8MB>

True. I had my solo upgraded to 8 meg and bought a platinum to be able to get 16 meg.

Only the Dragonball VZ processors can handle 16MB. The EZ can handle only 8MB. Sorry
