How much writing will the memo pad hold?

One memo can contain up to 4000 characters. The number of memos depends on how much memory is available.

Is there a MemoPad type app out there that can handle MORE than 4000 characters, but still have them be available to any software that looks for Memos?

I've already written PocketC apps that I've had to figure out how to break down into several smaller memos in order to fit all the code.
