Magellan GPS Companion

I recently purchased the GPS Companion. Had it working in no time. My trouble is trying to get the Map Companion Software and maps onto my Visor Prism. I followed the directions - Inserted CD ROM, opened Palm Desktop, clicked Install, clicked add, but when I clicked on My Drive D (CD rom) I get a message D:\ not accessible. The device is not ready. I was on the phone with Magellan Techs but they didn't have any idea what is wrong. They want me to mail the CD to them, but before I do I was wonduring if anyone had a suggestion, or heard of this before. If I put different CD's in my drive they all seem to work. Hope someone can help me. Thanks Janis

It won't help with the maps, but Nav Companion is updated here . I don't know if the CD file needs to be updated first.
Can you look at the CD in Explorer without Palm desktop open? If you can - you can easily double click on the files to add them to install.

I tried that with the Tech from Magellan. Also tried downloading the Nav software. Nothing. Weird isn't it. I also went and returned the GPS and got a new one. LOL Same problem with the cd rom.
