Wink

I have been using my new Stowaway for a week (gave my GoType to a co-worker).
I have discovered a minor bug that appears to be caused by the Stowaway keyboard driver. If you leave the driver enabled all the time (which worked fine with GoType), when you use the Visor undocked from the stowaway and try to enter any "dot-shifted" characters (like "&" "?" or "@") cannot be entered via graffiti. The "dot" in the lower right attempts to appear but doesn't. Disabling the driver clears the problem up.
Minor, but I would love to know if anyone else has seen this. I also use the hack EveEdit 2.1, which may or may not be involved. It has not cause anything like this before.
(PS I read through the thread discussing the new driver, I didn't see any mention of this bug. Also since I just got mine this week, I'm pretty sure I have the new driver)

I have heard this bug mentioned before, but haven't experienced it myself. I am using MagicText instead of EVEdit. Perhaps you could disable EVEdit, enable the keyboard driver and see if EVEdit is part of the problem.

Perhaps the new driver would clear up the issue. E-mail me if you would like a copy of it.

I leave the Stowaway driver enabled all the time and can do DOT commands like .@ etc...
I have no problems with that.

Actually I have not had any problems with it driver wise. I downloaded the driver from Targus's website even before I bought the Stowaway so that it was there when I finally got it. Workes fine. I would not use a Palm driver myself. This is working good so why?

Just perform a soft reset instead of disabling the driver. That's what I've done in the past. It didn't happen very often to me, and hasn't happened recently.

I've had the exact same thing happen to me. I just disable the driver then re-enable it, and then it works.

I originally had the same problem, then i had to hard reset my visor (installed a beta app and it crashed) so when i re-installed everything (including the Stowaway driver) the problem has stopped. So re-installing might help?
