Possible 320x320 Launcher utilities
One that first comes to mind would be a kind of primitive "windowing"
in which, when you switch apps, instead of going away, the previous
app's last screen is preserved on one of the 1/4 panels of the 320x320
screen. I.e., divide the screen into 4 160x160 sections, and each
one is capable of holding a 160x160 app screen capture. Clicking
on one of the 1/4 panels switches back to that app. Double
clicking on one of the apps would invoke the current behavior of
clearing out that app and going back to the launcher on that 1/4
panel. Many apps right now seem to preserve their state; these
apps would work pretty seemlessly. (For these apps, a single tap
to switch back to it would allow for cut-n-paste type operations.)
For apps that lose their state upon exiting, the 1/4 panel would
just display a screen capture of the app's last display.
Of course, a higher horsepower Dragonball would be nice for quick
switches.
The advantage of these scheme is that the code is already written
for 160x160 displays, so the utility would merely need to do some
(0,0),(160,0),(0,160),or (160,160) coordinate addition.
