Edge reset button

When the Edge was released, I recall reading somewhere that the tip of the stylus also doubled as a reset pin. However, the tip of my wife's Edge stylus is pretty fat and oval shaped, and doesn't get anywhere near to being able to reset the Edge.

Hasn't really been an issue, because her edge hardly ever needs to be reset, and when it does, i'm usually around and just use the reset pin in the tip of my Platinum stylus. But, what if you're out on the road, and nary a paper clip to be found (or anything similarly sized). Without a reset pin built into the stylus, you're kind of SOL until you can find something.

it's a pretty minor issue i suppose. After all, where are you going to go that you can't find a paper clip around or something else teeny to hit that reset button.

But, the fact of the matter is that someone somewhere at sometime said the Edge stylus tip was also a reset pin, which in my case is definitely not the case.

Did I miss the secret hiding place for the reset pin or something? has this been an issue for anyone at all?

You're mistaken. As far as I know, only the Handera 330 has a stylus friendly reset pin (that has been hyped as a feature).

Lack of a Reset pin is one of the downfalls of the edge.

The replacement pen/stylus has that feature - not the stock stylus.
