Unhappy

I have an Innopak/2v and I have been having problems with it ever since I received it. Frequently, when I remove the module (even with the VDX off) my Visor locks up and has to be soft reset. I also have a problem which seems to be related to the TrekSounds hack that I have installed. TrekSounds hack allows you to mute the sounds of the Visor with a pen stroke or the press of a button during power on. When I mute the sounds, the vibrate function of the Innopak no longer appears to work. I get my audible alarms instead. I have contacted the TrekSounds hack people and they are checking into the problem (First time they had heard of it) I was wondering if anyone else was having the lock up problem (most annoying) or the problem with the vibrate function not working with sounds muted? I'm ready to send the thing back and get the Memory Access module from Remote Soulutions instead. TIA.

Thumbs up

Mine has been working fine since I got it about six months ago. I would suspect a hack is causing the resets. It could be the TrekSounds hack. If it is hooking into the alarm sounds function that could cause a problem when the module is removed or inserted, as the module software either unloads or loads at that time. Try turning all your hacks off and see if that fixes the problem. You can then turn them on one at a time until you find the culprit.

Have you checked to see if you have the latest software update. Have a look on the Innogear website.

I've had one for six months, and it's been mainly trouble free. It crashed once, after I switched from my old Visor Dlx to a Prism. Also, it occasionally starts the vibrating alarm up when inserted, and keeps going until I go into the "test" program and manually shut it off. It's never caused a reset/fatal exception problem.
