I still dont have my modem...

I've called them every day... usually the answer was: we're shipping soon...

Now they say: "Well, it was supposed to ship on Friday, but somehow yours is not on the list... we are still looking to see what happened" Of course it's taking them 2 days to figure this out... I then asked, "can you send me another one and if I get two I'll return one?" and they appeared to agree, but I have yet to hear what's going on...

Supposedly there are about 3 others in the same boat... can't they just mail them by hand???

I appreciate the support they are giving, but so far is all talk Of course if they are reading this, they may blacklist me... (Hint: I'd like to have the modem so I can become the #1 cheerleader for the service)

You should get your modem any day now.

I ordered mine on 12/21/00 and received it on 1/2/01...a day earlier than expected. This was also during the holidays and a delay because of the CDs.

Yada Yada did come through....I know it's painful to wait, but it's worth it!

Now, if only my Visor would crash so much when I'm using the modem. I still love it!

I was the same way. I really wanted this thing... don't fret, it will come and the company tried its best to get it out the door. They just didn't say the right things to the customer.


BE FOREWARNED: Order your optimized Visor if yours it one of the originals. I ordered mine on September 23 of 99... there's no way my Visor was optimized for this technology. And because of VisorCentral's heads up... both arrived the same day.

I'm just still annoyed at all the different excuses... I would be happy with a straight answer... (maybe that's just me :P)

I have a prism just primed for it I might get my wife's dlx replaced with an optimized one just in case anyways...

Now, if only I could figure out a way to use an palm vnc with a port forwarded through ssh...
