What is going on with all the crappy calculator softwear and graphing softwear out there that is availble for PALM OS?

Can't they make a decent program that can do 3D Graphing? What about integrals and other Calculus problems?

I say some comany should go hard core and make a springboard module for the Visor that can do this stuff...

until then, my HP will have to suffice.

I am with you all the way. It should be so easy to make a graphing calculator ina springboard, but no one appears to want to do it. I have emailed TI and they told me they did not have any intentions of making either software or hardware for the Visor. Anybody to make a fully-featured graphing calculator Springboard would definately have my business as well as many others.

Hell no TI wouldn't make a module for the Palm/Visor.

They're currently enjoying the benefits of charging $99 for the same calculator I bought 6 years ago for $99 I'd like a nice $30 module for my visor.. it could be done, but companies like that would never go for it.

I agree that TI would probably never make their own Springboard since they have all their own modules already, but it can't be that difficult to make a calculator with the same capabilities. You don't have to make the LCD screen or include the processor. Anyone to make the calculator would make a killing I think. I would do it in a second if I had the knowhow. None of the calculators now even approach the TI in terms of capability, but the knowledge is there and we just need to harness it for the Visor.
