I've found a wierd screen anomaly - regardless of what app I'm in, when I click on the bottom of the screen, up to 1/4" above the Application or Calculator icon, it goes to either Applications or Calculator. I'm specifically clicking well above the icon.

This is an issue, as the arrow to control scroll bars is usually right above the Calculator icon, and the 'New' button is frequently right above the Application icon.

I've run and re-run the digitizer, so I'm confident that it's calibrated correctly.

Question

Hopefully you contacted Handspring with this, instead of hoping they'll read it here?

Mic,

Thanks for informing us. Please keep us posted on any updates and what Handspring tells you. I wonder if you got a defective unit, or if it is a true bug...

Mic, since your acting a point man for this whole thing, educate me. Is this screen issue a:

1. Flash bios/operating thing (i.e. can't be easily fixed with a gazillion units already being pumped out)

2. A software issue...no big deal

3. A bum unit sent thing..again, no big deal.

I'm ready to make a decision as to whether or not to buy based on YOUR expert opinion.(the pressure is on)....p.s. keep passing the useful info.
