TailLight, do you read these? The AA battery pack is a GREAT idea. NOW, if I were a manufacturer, I think I'd be tempted to manufacture THE SAME THING in a fom factor that attaches like a "sled" directly to the Prism when you you anticipate a lengthy trip away. (I got the Naval Reserve thing coming up, two weeks in Australia, in a tent. Who hoooo. The battery-enabled recharger is great but after Dave Kopsis advises it's best to charge at greater than 90 percent (any less draws more from the batteries -- i dunno, engineers, they know this stuff) so, rather than connect the Prism to the battery recharger with it's cord, if they just attached it directly and allowed me to RUN the Prism in the field. I dunno, dumb idea? (I know, I know: "If you didn't want rechargables, why'd you BUY a unit that required recharging. Well, hey, wanted color. And, most of the time I have access to my charger. But ONCE in a while...
