Question

I sync with Outlook both at home and at work.

Here is my scenerio.

I receive new mail from home.
I do a sync.
I come to work.
I do another sync.

The new mail I got from home doesn't show up in Inbox at work. Instead all mails from home had been deleted and "updated" with mails from work.

In hotsync manager, both at home and at work, it is set to synchronize.

Only mail doesn't work. Task and all the rest works?

Whats up?? is it a outlook issue? pocketmirror?

anyone else has this problem?

I may be completely off base here, but I don't think you can sync to more than one Inbox (perhaps with additional software).

The way I see it, your Visor doesn't know whether it's being synced at your house or at work. Ex. If you have 2 e-mails synced from Outlook at home, then you go to work and sync 1 e-mail from work, the Visor thinks that you deleted the original 2 e-mails from Outlook and since received 1 new e-mail.

Remember, HotSync always goes with the "latest" changes to your data. For example, if you deleted all your Contacts in Outlook, then synced your Visor, it would delete all the Contacts in your Visor (if you had Contacts set to synchronize). I learned this last one the hard way.

Anyway, that's my .02. Hope it helps.

hmmm.... your 2 cents might be right...

but doesn't that defeat the "purpose" of syncing???

but I guess the visor wouldn't be able to tell the difference huh???

thanks anyway.
