Question SoundsGood Module

Anybody else experienced this?

I have a SoundsGood and it keeps on causing my VDx to crash with a variety of errors, most common error 4128 or just plain old fatal exception. This happens on a VDx staight from the box with no 3rd party software added.

On ocassions it needs just one soft reset and it works fine. On others I need to reset it 3 or 4 times. I am loathe to return it to the shop as it just what I want for travelling, the Minijam is too big for my liking.

That's strange (to me) because I've never had any resets due to the Soundsgood. (Except for maybe taking out the module while still in the program.) Can you isolate the problem further? Does it happen for a particular tune or after playing for a certain length of time? I have two of these and my wife has one and I'm stumped. Can you try it with a different Visor?

Thanks for your help.

I have tried it with another Visor and get the same problem.

It crashes regardless of what tracks are on it. I even cleared all the flash from the mdule using the clear all flash memeory menu item. It still crashed even with no songs loaded!

There are no hacks running on either Visor I have tried it with.

I have noticed that the buttons on the module (play, forward and back) when pushed sometimes do not always come back up and need a litle help. I wonder if they are causing the module to short out in some way.

Tried re-flashing it. Still get the same problem. Looks like I will have to ask the retailer if they can get a replacement. Unlikely in the event that they are not made anymore!!

Thanks for your help on the subject.
