Ok, all you tech experts out there... I used to think I was an expert until I came up against this little problem: I can't get my Visor Deluxe to arrive at my office!

HELP!

Here's what you need to do to fix this problem:

Make sure your office has a postal address. Whether or not you know it, this is important.

Take in a deep breath, count to ten, let it out.

Repeat step 2 several times.

Get in a time machine and set it to about 4 weeks from now.

I've also been told that if you keep rebooting your desktop/laptop PC over and over until your Visor arrives, this helps. Or it at least keeps you so preoccupied and non-productive you forget to notice your Visor has not yet arrived.

Hope this helps!

Wink

Zippy, you can also hit "refresh" in your browser every ten seconds or so, looking for that post that says "I got mine". And of course, you can call the CSR's. Many people seem to think this helps!

Everyday when I get home from work, I check to see if UPS has delivered a package. Then I check to make sure my dog hasn't eaten it. Neither one has happened yet!

Cool

I've found a solution that seems to work pretty well for this problem, which I also am having. I sit at my computer, click on the "Internet Explorer" icon, then click "Favorites > Visor Stuff > VisorCentral General Discussion." I then read whatever I happen to see. This has been quite effective in helping me not to notice the problem. I'm a Systems Administrator, and I've noticed that a lot of problems can be solved by just a little bit of fidgeting. Hope that helps!

Actually, as an "advanced user" I like to cycle between VisorCentral, Slashdot, my Visa online statement, and (in vain) Handspring's site. Sometimes my timer expires at Visa and I have to log in again. That's 15 seconds of preoccupation right there. All told-hours of enjoyment!

ChrisB-I work as a helpdesk/on site tech person, and its amazing how many people will fix their own problems if you give them a few days to think about it. Saves me hours.
