I got a water resistant bag for a cell phone and the Visor fits in nicely! It's a little tall for the Visor, but you can kind of fold over the top and it's not too ungainly. A small sacrifice if you have the need to use your Visor in the rain, or just think it's cool knowing that you could. Graffiti works thru the soft plastic.

I got a case made for Palms by BodyGlove, the company which makes wet suits. It fits the Visor very well and is water resistant.

What is the use of a water proof case. Do you work in the water?

Excellent question - no, I do not work in the water. I was given the case for a cell phone (someone in the office who does a lot of boating got one) and originally I put the Visor in it as a bit of a joke - the people at work found my excitement over the Visor a bit amusing.

Those who plan to use the GPS for hiking may have a real use for the water resistant case, and there IS a scuba diving log for the Palm OS...

Are you talking about the AquaPac? It's a workthrough, waterproof case...

That's exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks for the link. Do you know if they have one a little longer? It would be great to be able to fit the GPS/Visor in it.

Recently, I bought an Otterbox, which is a hard waterproof cover/case. It offers excellent protection if you need to bring your visor along with you while camping, hiking, boating, etc. Only problem is that you have to open the case to operate the visor.

I checked out the other waterproof cases on their website (www.totalcase.com) and I think I found the perfect one for the GPS/Visor combo:

It's meant for a camera but all the dimensions work out well. I think I will do a little internet purchasing on this little puppy. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Now if I can get my grubby hands on the fictitious-get-my-hopes-up-and-shoot-me HandyGPS...
