Question

I have several PQA's loaded on my Platinum that I have found useless for a variety of reasons. How do I delete these? When I try the 'Delete' command, I get a long list of 'Applications' but no listing for specific PQAs?
Any clues?

You can also use the File Mover app that comes with your Minstrel.

If you're being sarcastic, please use italics. At work we call that the "sarcasm font." Helps avoid confusion.

I believe a file mover application comes with the YadaYada service allowing you to access the free meg of RAM on the minstrel S, but not for OmniSky.

Deleting PQA's

Do a warm reset on your Visor (eg. turn visor off, hold down up button on front of visor, and push reset button on back of visos, wait a few seconds, release the up button). Then immediately go to the delete screen on your visor and delete the unwanted PQA's.

I think it's actually included with all the unbranded, non-reseller Mistrels that Novatel sells directly. The first one I got via Yadayada back in November had none of the YY 'ware on it - just the Minstrel related apps, the file mover, and Eudora.

I'm suprised OS doesn't include that app. That's kinda weak.

You don't have to do that for PQAs, those are instructions if you want to get the Palm VII libraries off of your Palm.

File Mover Application

You can download USB program from Card Access which will allow you to move programs. I used it to move File Mover to my main memory. Now I have it whenever I need it. It is pretty small and you can use it to see all of the PQA's.
