International prices a ripoff?

I read all the news of visor pricecuts eagerly untill I looked at their UK website (www.handspring.co.uk).

The price disparity between uk & us is huge.

UK prices:
prism: 349UKP = $506
pro: 269UKP = $390
neo: 169UKP = $245

US prices:
prism: $299 ($207 less then UK)
pro: $199 ($191 less then UK)
neo: $169 ($76 less then UK)

Surely it can't cost $200 to ship a visor prism or pro from the US to the UK???

At US prices I'd be tempted to get a pro, but at UK prices thats no sale handspring.

I 2nd That !!!

HS are totaly focused on the US.

Even for the TREO which has larger markets outside US due to GSM availability.

It seems that the prices are 1US=1Pound, which translates as 50% Higher for all products.

More than that, all special offers are also directed to the US, and seldom find their way to the rest of the world.

I would have had no problem with that, if only HS would allow direct order from their site to the rest of the world.

All I can say is... Find a way to Buy it in US.

Or - We can write a petition (Have you any idea how ? - maybe as a pole thread here...)
