Question Making a generic battery

Does anyone know how to (or have an idea of how to) create a generic battery pack for the prism. There has got to be a way to create a battery pack from other LI rechargeable batteries. Or a way to convert the prism so that it will take rechargeable NiMh or regular lithium photo AAA or AA (or even regular AAA or AA though thy will die super quick with the color screen)?

I dont want to lose the ability to use my prism and the springboard module when the battery dies. Yes, I can use the springboards in my DLX or NEO but I want my color.) I dont want to send my unit to HS and give them any cash the pis*ed me of they dont get my money. I lived with a non-flashable ROM because of the springboards but theyve decided phones are more profitable than a springboard line. Ill buy someone elses phone they dont get my money. Enough of my ranting - back to the topic.

Does anyone have any ideas? Someone with some know how and a dead prism want to give it a shot. Or does someone know where I can get a dead prism very, very cheap so I can try to figure it out? Or even a dead battery and its connector? Though only a battery will not allow me to test it until my unit eventually dies I wont try it on mine while the battery works. Because there will not always be rechargeable replacement batteries for the prism. Some of you must want to try to save your prism to can this be worked out

Where theres a will theres a way!

You might try LaptopsForLess. They have replacement batteries for Prisms.

Haven't heard any specs for the batteries to know how to create one.
