This is a non-technical troubleshooting question. I dropped my visor earlier. It looks like it landed on its corner because my stylus now is stuck. I've tried opening up the device to see if there are any openings where I can push the stylus out from the inside.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Thanks

This happened to my coworker. We ended up prying it out with a pair of tweezers. It was hard to do, though.

This happened to me too. I ended up using a hemostat to grab onto the wing on the top of the stock plastic stylus to pull it out. Good luck!

Lightbulb

The only way to get the stylus out is to take the unit all the way apart, down to the bare plastics. Not for the faint of heart...

My recommendation would be to call Handspring and get the unit repaired.

BTW - Did you ever get the stylus out?

If you have access to a vise, put the visor in it such that the stylus points away from you. Take a flat screwdriver, place against the stuck stylus wing, and tap with a mallet. Boing!

It probably would be a good idea to ensure that the vise is gripping the plastic edges of the Visor, not the glass screen.
I know this seems obvious, but just to be sure...
