Cool

I work at Media Play in the software and video games department. People always call or drop buy asking if we have PDAs. We don't carry any PDAs but I always show them my Visor Deluxe (in its way cool blue) and recommend to them Handspring over Palm. It gives me warm fuzzies j/k.

True. As much as we disparage the eyemodule on these boards, when Donna Dubinsky was as last year was the most popular Springboard was, she cited the eyemodule. Given the popularity of the Gameboy camera, which is equally mediocre, maybe we shouldn't be so surprised.

Wink My Visor Experience

Speaking Of M100's...
*Warning. This is long. People with short attention spans might not like the length of this.*

When I started this year at my High School, I had this Honors math teacher, who wasn't one. Coach. Figures. And he was the only Honors teacher in the school for that subject. I transfered out to a normal math teacher who's great. (Everyone who takes him has to hire a private tutor, and they just are in it because its an "Honors" class.) But enough on his teaching skills.

He urged the school to get him a automated grader, (scans in directly to his gradebook, so he did, and does whatever the hell he wants all period.) On the second day of school, he proudly displayed his new Palm M100, which he bought for himself. Did I mention that he has a iMac, so he had to spend $45 to buy the Palm USB Converters. And it Syncs horribly slow. (We all know he could have bought a Visor and a back-up module for that price, USB native and fast.)
Everyone crowded around him, as I smugly (hehe) pulled out my Blue Visor Dlx. and started penning in homework on it. The crowd shifting, and after showing them the Adv. Calc, Datebook+, CityTime, and the Springboard slot (With Backup module in it, at the time), everyone commented on how much better my Visor was. My former teacher then promptly turned red in the face.

-
A month previous, I went to BestBuy to pick up the Backup Module which I previously mentioned, The employee behind the Cell Phone/PDA counter got me the box, and asked what it was. I told him, and then he asked if that was the only thing you could put in the Springboard slot. I told him about all the other modules available at the time, and later I found out that he had purchased A Orange Visor Dlx. and the Backup and Tiger Woods Golf Module.

And since then, I have been explaining the "coolness" of my blue "Palm-pilot thingy". Ahh...

That's it, I'm done.
