Chalk me up for Blue. It's my favorite color, and the Graphite looks too much like a Palm Pilot. The other colors are too toy-ish for me, though I wish the blue didn't remind me of the iMac (No offense, Mac fans)

Handspring should invent physical skins for future Visors. Lots of programs have skins, so why not physical things?

Ice, female, 30, I work in the entertainment industry so I have NO interest in appearing corporate. Ice looks distintive without being too pushy about it. I'm actively looking forward to having people say, "Ooooh, what's that?"

Cool

I ordered Graphite, although my favourite color is blue! I think black is still more "lasting" than other colors.

Thumbs down

I have cancelled my order of a blue VD... Heck, this site is more together than Handspring's, and this isn't even the webmaster's primary job in life! For god's sake! I guess I'm going WinCE after all...

So please remove me from your wonderful pie chart...

Sorry to see you go Stuart142. If it's any consolation, I winced when I read your post.

But at least graphite is giving blue a run for its money.

I've been keeping my eye on another similar poll @ http://www.palminfocenter.com/pollr...?ID=visorcolors

Ice is in the lead on that poll and a non-existent color is listed - black. Which you would think they meant to be graphite, but they have that one and they are missing green as a choice. However, the percentages are close to our poll with ice, blue and graphite getting the most votes.

If Handsprung's chart is accurate, then those of you who are concerned about backordered models should consider green or orange(the least ordered, therefore the most likely still in stock).

Just an update: Blue VD is on order, I was already counted so don't add me in again, but that was what I was "going" to order, and today it became what I "did" order.

Cool

Heh... actually, this Orangeman chose Blue, AMiODD (though I did think long and hard about the Orange). I figure that I can get the stylus pack, use the Orange stylus, and voila: Blue and Orange.

I wonder if Orange Visors will sell predominantly in the Syracuse area...

Those of you who didn't order graphite, I would recommend reading the "Internet World" article on the VisorCentral homepage or http://www.visorcentral.com/visor/a...iw1/default.asp . You might want to reconsider your color choice after reading the first page...

I think Handspring would have been better off not doing so many translucent colors. The ice is fine, but then they should have made solid colored models in unique shades of red, blue, orange/yellow and green. Just my opinion...

Cool

I ordered a Graphite VD because I don't like the translucent look. If they had solid colors, I would have ordered a blue. Btw I'm 24. There might be more of a correalation between color and job instead of color and age.

p.s. Did anyone ever think that when we say VD somebody might be thinking we are talking about somekind of disease?
