Just finished installing the software for my new Visor Platinum. I plugged
the USB cradle in first before installing, and then attempted to Hotsync. It
gave me an application error, when it tried to sync my email from Outlook express, and
the Found New Hardware Wizard gives me the following error:
Handspring USB
"An error occurred during the installation of the device. The system cannot
find the file specified."
I disabled outlook express mail from syncing, and now im able to sync all my
contacts etc. from Outlook 2000.
As soon as it starts to sync, the same Found New Hardware error appears. But
i am able to complete the process.
I tried using the Visor USB Reg clean utility, and reinstalling the Palm
Desktop software, but the same thing still happens.
Anyone else have this happen in W2K Professional?
