Invisible data

Hi,

I always used PalmDesktop for syncing and never had any problems. Then I used Lotus Notes EasySync for a couple of weeks and had a lot of problems. But I added a lot!! of address information in these days. Now I switched back to Palm Desktop but everything I added while using EasySync is not visible on the Palm Desktop - even though I can still see it on my Visor. What can I do to access the added data while using EasySync on my Palm Desktop?

The first thing I would do is to set the sync for the address book as Visor overwrites Desktop (thorugh the custom menu in Hotsync).

Then sync and see if this has changed things.

If not empty the \handspring\'username'\address directory, and sync again.

Let us know if this works.

EasySync leaves files on the Visor that need to be manually deleted in order to restore syncing to Palm Desktop. Check through some of these older threads.

nothing helped

I did as you said. I removed all contents of address and made the Visor overwriting the Desktop but still the same result. It's the same with the calender. It looks like everything I edited with Lotus Notes is not visibale on the Desktop.

I also tried Syncfixer2 but this program terminates with a" fatal error: MemoryMgrNew.c, Line 3101, Nill ID". I do have the handspring 8MB flash module installed. Does that cause this problem?
